Hello, I’m Parth Bhalerao 👋

I’m a Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science with specialization in AI at Santa Clara University, advised by Dr. Oana Ignat. My academic journey began with a B.E. in Electronics & Computer Science from Ramdeobaba University, Nagpur (2023), followed by a Master’s in Computer Science and Engineering (2025) at Santa Clara University, where my passion for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning deepened into research.

At the AIM-Lab (SCU), I actively contribute to research at the intersection of Agentic AI and multimodal learning — spanning image, video, and audio understanding. My work focuses on building specialized agents for image generation and video comprehension, bridging model innovation with real-world applicability.

Beyond academic research, I’ve authored multiple IEEE publications and hold a patent for a novel biomedical healthcare device integrated with ML.

Technical Expertise

• AI/ML/DL Frameworks: Python, PyTorch, HuggingFace, CUDA kernel development, Pandas, Numpy and other common Data-Science Librarries
• Core Competencies: Multimodal learning, reinforcement learning, agentic AI, dataset curation & deployment pipelines
• Systems & Programming: C++, CUDA programming, custom library design, parallel & sequential AI agent execution

I am currently seeking Research Internships in AI/ML, while also open to opportunities in Software Engineering and Data Science, where I can apply my expertise in both theory and implementation of next-generation intelligent systems.
